I was sitting on the floor in kindergarten at Cary Elementary watching the shuttle launch. Is anyone else old enough to remember when it happened?[Edited on January 28, 2014 at 11:09 PM. Reason : /]

i was in kindergarten in south florida and we'd actually gone outside to try to spot the trail in the sky. i dont remember if we could see anything or not, i just remember being brought back inside abruptly and we didnt talk anymore about it. kinda hazy but i do remember that much.

was in kindergarten. didn't watch live, but we did sit down and discuss it, but i believe they let our parents talk about it first. I remember thinking that they were going to have a hard time finding all of the pieces for their reconstruction and thought it would be a long time until they let them go back to space (which it turned out to be several years)

^During my junior year of high school it was in the news that some of the pieces of the challenger washed up on shore in Florida.

I don't remember the actual explosion, just both of my parents going on for hours about how the jews probably did it.
