Can be for new releases, upcoming ones, or past releases. That said, what movie out now would you guys recommend? Personally I like most movie generes other than romantic comedies (at least for actually paying for a movie). And yes I can't spell sometimes.]

I recommend Welcome to Mooseport, starrying Ray Romano and Gene Hackman. Its a feel good movie the whole family can enjoy.

I feel like the Entertainment section carries out the purpose of this thread. OP is lazy.

look guy, you don't need anyone to tell you what to watch. If you want to watch Killer Bud starring David Faustino that's your prerogative.

I saw the movie Snowtown the other day. It was incredible but at the same time probably the most disturbing movie I've ever seen. Probably worth a watch, but you likely won't want a second one.

I don't think I'd be the only one to benefit from having a more consolidated list of current releases and past releases that are worth watching. Most of the current movie threads involve inordinate fanboy epeen dueling. Thus sifting out, the "i liked the books more" rabble from the more helpful tid bits in 20 some odd threads seems overly complicated.

I watched Goon the other night. It was entertaining. Not anything amazing, but not bad at all. Has Sean William Scott as bouncer who becomes a minor-league hockey enforcer. Liev schrieber (sp?) has a small role in it and Jay Barochel (sp?) is in it -- his character is pretty annoying though.Again, it's nothing amazing. But not a bad watch if you're kind of bored and it's on or you see it at redbox.
