I see 3 red flags here:1) It sounds like they're talking about direct marketing (ie kind of like these guys do /message_topic.aspx?topic=592363)2) No where on their website are they actually soliciting clients3) Their website includes auto-start music with no stop button

sounds like it might be those "marketing firms" that go around to small business (like myself) and try to tell us how they're going to help us and do all this stuff to make us more successful. Of course I'm lucky enough to work for a company that's been around for 77 years so I can say, no we're doing ok. Pretty much it's people that failed in life in general, but still like to wear a nice suit.

I've done door-to-door sales for a home improvement company like this. Yes, it is sketchy, but you can learn some good salesman tricks from it. Once you actually get the hang of it (took me about 2 months), you can start making a decent wage generated by leads.I started getting 0-1 leads per day with sales occuring about 1 out of every 4. By the time I finished, I was making 5-8 leads a day and selling about half the time (I was commission based on sales, too). I also became really comfortable with making sales pitches and dealing with rejection.I don't think this type of marketing is a scam per say. It just isn't the job for everyone. Plus the people I worked with were pretty sleazy (One guy was actually on work release from prison).
