Want!

http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/06/germans-invent-worlds-first-4wd-pedal.html

Quote :
"Forget about mountain bikes; the newest trend in off-roading is called Trailcart and according to its creators, it’s the world’s first pedal-powered four wheel drive off-road vehicle. The Trailcart was conceived by Frank Fraune from Germany who caught the attention of the folks at AS Group when it was featured in a local newspaper.

Now AS Group is testing Trailcart prototypes and it shouldn’t be long before the first production karts hit the (off) road. Mind you, one of the first clients to get the Trailcart will be Land Rover that’ll use the 4WD pedal kart at the Land Rover Adventure Tour 2008 in Malaysia. -Continued

We don’t have all the technical details in our hands yet, but Treehugger notes that the Trailcart is built from high-end sportsbikes parts, including the Shimano Nexus 8 shifting system along with a double-action mechanical hydraulic braking system. In terms of weight, AS Group is targeting to keep it under 50 kg / 100 lbs which is the typical limit for bicycle racks on cars.

Even though we’re pretty sure that you’d probably be better off with a mountain bike –unless you’re going downhill or you have the stamina and strength of an Olympian athlete that is, the Trailcart does look like it could offer plenty of fun. Come to think of it, the way gas prices are going, if AS Group adds a couple of cup holders, we could actually see ourselves using it for our daily chores during those snowy winters here in MA."

yeah, they do. the point is just to show they're 4wd pedal vehicles that have been in existance much longer than this contraption OEP is pissing himself over. i'm sure it performs 10x better, just saying this should be nothing new or exciting to any male that had a normal childhood. maybe OEP played with dolls or something and missed all the cool riding toys, i dunno.

i've got an ancient one also that came off my grandparent's farm. it's forged/stamped though, not cast. should definitely be worth something one day if it's not already. i guess it's supposed to be a 40's farmall, probably a model H. i rode the crap out of that thing when i was little and never did do anything to it but a few scratches. even demo derby with tricycles vs. the tractor didn't phase it.

Civilize yourself, or at least, act civilied... and unless the mods lock this thread, STFU.

"we gave you a thread..."

LOL WTF? WhoTF are you?

"quit clogging the place up with this crap..."

This is not a drainage pipe that it would get clogged. And even if it is, a lot of people make far more threads in here than I do. And BTW, you have made some shitty nonsense chit-chat threads in here (as have most of the regulars), so unclog your shit first before you ask others to.

P.S. It is almost as if you are on some crusade (also evidenced by your posts in the Veyron thread) to kick me out of this "garage posse" of yours. Don't worry, I am not a part of the posse, just the Garage forum. Not everybody in the Garage is or has to be part of the secret posse that you are a part of, along with the other regulars. Come into my threads or not, enjoy them or not, but don't go on some pissy crusade, K? I am not going to respond to any more of your utterings, so keep them to yourself.
