50k trucks worth 30 something, in less than three months = major pwnage. I saw on TV that Ford is cutting SUV production drastically to avoid anymore over saturation of the market. They have like a 3 month supply of SUV's sitting unsold.
5/23/2008 1:14:09 PM
should just roll up and try to get a new diesel suburban for 25k
5/23/2008 1:41:03 PM
Yeah I bet they will suck your dick if you buy a full size SUV right now.
5/23/2008 1:45:11 PM

5/23/2008 2:15:08 PM
5/23/2008 2:46:27 PM

5/23/2008 2:54:05 PM
5/23/2008 2:54:13 PM

5/23/2008 4:08:33 PM

5/23/2008 4:12:09 PM
5/23/2008 4:15:27 PM

5/23/2008 4:26:21 PM

5/23/2008 5:47:46 PM

my 99 civic ex with every option AND A FIVE SPEED is worth as much as I bought it for 2 years ago I'd assume. only 110k on it and I drive 2.5 miles to work

5/24/2008 7:19:08 PM
what's crazy is unless you're replacing your suv with a geo metro, you won't see a savings comparable to this type of price drop-off
5/24/2008 7:56:29 PM
Haha, people bailing out of their SUV purchase because they can't afford the gas make me laugh. The short-sighted nature of people in general makes me laugh. To buy a $40,000 vehicle and then cut and run when your $3500/year bill for gasoline rises up to $5000 or more in a year... I suppose it's even better that they're trying to sell the vehicles now when they're worth absolutely nothing to the market. I guess some people really are just that short-sighted that they allow this to happen to themselves. Now would be a great time to pick up a used boat-hauler for the weekend. Maybe give it a little more time so people become a bit more desperate to get rid of their cars, then you could really gouge them for their mistakes.

5/31/2008 7:10:01 AM
friend of mine picked up a 96 Civic LX 5 speed with 120k miles on it for $1900 (was running rough, just needed a new distributor like half the civics of that era) back in January or so, right before gas prices really started ramping up. I bet that thing is worth like $4000 now...
5/31/2008 10:05:06 AM
I live right next to work... maybe i should pick up a range on the cheap and hope gas prices fall.
5/31/2008 10:56:28 AM
i wish gas cost 30 dollars a gallon so you fucks would have to walk like i do
5/31/2008 10:59:46 AM
^ If that happened, you'd see Americans get out their guns and stand outside the Capitol.Dodge Ram sales are struggling heavily right now as well.
5/31/2008 7:47:07 PM
Drunkn' people would start biking, using public trans, or even ride horses again.By that point, I'm sure we will have switched to .......... for fuel.
5/31/2008 8:42:45 PM
When are gas prices going to PWN boat values? I still ain't got no Wakesetter.

my wife is going to keep driving the old Town Car. it gets about 23 mpg and a wreck isn't an automatic death sentence. I thought about getting some beer can car that gets really good mileage, but they just don't have enough steel around you to give you protection.
