Can this be done by the month or is a year lease necessary? I'd need it till mid-September.

SkankinMonky was a renter at the apartment and decided to move back home half way through the lease. He had to sublease to not 1 but 2 of his friends to finish out the lease so he wouldn't be in breach of contract and be taken to court. That's way he's giving all the negative feedback. All repairs are done and the condo is in perfect move in condition (pictures on request). He's also upset because he didn't get his full security deposit back because of the condition his subleasers left the place in. It took 4 hours of trash removal plus 2 hours just to clean the refrigerator to give you an idea of the condition (pictures also on request). Tenants did not take care of the place and SkankinMonky had to help pay for it in the end!

I want to know about the 'floor replacement' that we were all charged nearly $60 for. You know, the floors we mopped every week and dusted and even emailed the landlord about when leakage problems concerned us that damage may have been occuring. I thought this would fall under a landlord's overhead, but I am once again amazed. I also didn't know there was a hole in a laundry room door. Was this caused after I moved out? Because I was certainly charged for it. If you're wondering why I'm posting here, its only because I feel I'll get a quick reply. [rant] To anyone looking for a place, its not a terrible place to live, its just trying every now and again when you try your best to be an honest tenant and end up getting charged over $200 in the end when you thought you had done your best to leave the place as good as you could. Yeah, the kitchen needed work, but someone was still moving out of there, that still had stuff in the kitchen, when I had to turn in my key because the lease was up. Was I called? No. Not once. I mean, if you need the money that bad whatever, its not worth going to court over or anything stupid. Just irritates my principles and sense of reason [/end rant]I don't regret living there and you probably won't either, just know what to expect from the beginning.
