My best friend is getting married on June 2, and is looking for a great photographer. You'll get paid very well, and for those of you design students/textiles, youll get some great experience and additions to your portfolio... Of course, I need to see some samples from your portfolio to consider hiring. Send me a pm if interested.

dunno where i saw this, a movie or something, but i think it'd be pretty cool to have a bunch of disposable cameras just laying around on tables. so the guests can take pictures of stuff too, except you get the cameras at the end of the day..

^ a few weddings i've been to have done that - from what i've heard they typically get back all cameras minus 2-3i'd never come to tww to find a photographer though unless it's an extremely cheap/budget wedding and i was desparate

^^When I was planning my wedding, I saw a lot of advice against doing this because you just spend a lot of money on disposable cameras and developing awful pictures.I had two camera savvy friends at my wedding who took awesome pictures. Most of their pictures were 10x better than the professional photograher's pictures.

thanks christine btw. i'm actually thinking about getting out of the whole wedding photography deal. its a lot of added stress that i don't particularly like dealing with. alot of work. under appreciated alot of times. but i will say that the disposable camera idea isn't a very good one. coming from someone who printed alot of those pictures. it seems in general don't know how to really take a good picture. atleast not with a disposable camera. its bad quality film. and 9x out of 10... it is a situation where there isn't enough light to get a good picture.and for the record. its not a "horrible" idea to find a photographer here. there are a lot of people who are qualified. there are some here that actually do it for a living. hell, i've shot a few weddings and have some set up for next year(set up before i started thinking about not doing it anymore).
