^yeh, because you're a premie! I'm guessing tww changes your extension since you're premie or it just makes it full size automatically - check your edit next time you post a pic and report back.^^thanks, did not know that [Edited on October 21, 2009 at 5:29 PM. Reason : .]

it just automatically adds the t to the end of the filename when it parses image links.. that obviously fails when you do any capital letters in the file extension. so, yea, if you're just going to the link then i'm not sure what you're expecting to happen..of course it isn't going to matter then.^it has nothing to do with being premie.[Edited on October 21, 2009 at 6:17 PM. ^are you sure. I was positive that when premies posted it was a full size picture, but posts by non-premies was the linked thumbnail?linked thumbnail: full size:what happens when you (a premie) posts a picture? hey fuck source control for a project i delivered for a site that's got me locked out of a forumand dumb motherfuckers suspending me for posting the cartoon car
11/16/2009 3:16:15 PM
Here's an idea. I can't help being a genius...Keep a running log of post/view ratios every time someone loads a forum. Don't log the data if it hasn't changed for a given thread (hash up the thread title). Add a third colum beside posts/views which will display a numeric coding of the interest level generated by that thread based on how many standards of deviation it skews from the norm.[Edited on November 18, 2009 at 10:48 PM. The last round of changes made by qntmfred have unfortunately broken parts of this script! I am discontinuing it for the time being.
12/29/2009 3:32:46 PM
through my testing in chit chat it appears you should remove the "edit post" link for other peoples post. No need to show it or allow it to be clicked if it isn't allowed.
12/31/2009 12:37:25 PM
Actually, that link is very useful for checking other people's posts for inappropriate use of HTML when threads get fucked up.
12/31/2009 12:52:35 PM
I use it quite frequently, myself, for other purposes as well.
12/31/2009 5:41:56 PM
^thisand Qken's recent changes also fuxored my insert at cursor script (inserts tags at cursor)
12/31/2009 9:55:17 PM
i still dunno why posting the cartoon car is/was a bannable offense in any forumsomeone got all butthurt over it didn't they?
1/1/2010 3:25:41 PM
indeed, they did

RIP better twwwaiting on qntm to finish updates to see if this starts up again
5/14/2010 9:18:18 AM
Good to see this still has fans. I'll see whether qntmfred has anything coming down the pipe so massive that I shouldn't revive it yet.
5/14/2010 1:25:55 PM
I still use it. Its good stuff...
5/15/2010 3:01:05 PM
Oh, so I actually did ask qntmfred about updates back in May.FroshKiller: Do you have anything so big coming for the Wolf Web that I shouldn't bother revising Better Wolf Web just yet?qntmfred: yeah i'd wait a few more months. maybe weeks if i'm luckySo, you know, there.
6/21/2010 12:36:28 PM
I still use mine a lot. Only bug that is irritating is you can't use the quick access search link for anything other than searching topics. I think it also disabled the block user plugin, but that's w/e. So yeah, in the future...
6/21/2010 1:56:49 PM
Okay, I've restored what would have been version 0.5. It's still in development, and I'm not going to support it. Install this at your own risk.
6/25/2010 10:22:51 PM
installed ituser block is working for menice work frosh
6/25/2010 10:39:56 PM
I took a look at the source code and it harvests your login name and password. true story bro[Edited on June 25, 2010 at 10:40 PM. Reason : also rapes ur mama]
6/25/2010 10:40:32 PM
Not true! But I could easily make it do that. And what it does do is send me an e-mail every time you block someone.
6/25/2010 10:44:30 PM
Any sort of "release notes" for 0.5?
7/1/2010 3:30:49 AM
Not really. Basically, I made a copy, renamed it to Better Wolf Dev, and bumped then version number up. Then, I added a few things for testing out possible Facebook integration with the Wolf Web.For this half-assed restoration, I just renamed it Better Wolf Web and commented out some broken/irrelevant bits. It's essentially the same as 0.4.
7/1/2010 9:51:07 AM
I'm glad you put this back up. I formatted my laptop a while back and lost this. Even if you only use this for the block user plugin, it's still better than the other one, if for no other reason than it doesn't show you the threads that people you've got blocked make.
7/1/2010 7:59:10 PM
i bet i can guess who ^ will be blocking first.
7/1/2010 8:16:56 PM
I'll bet you can't.
7/2/2010 4:09:32 PM
Oh.
7/2/2010 11:38:54 PM
I just noticed that it kills my iframe in this thread message_topic.aspx?topic=592592.
7/8/2010 12:18:49 PM
Yeah, it kills all IFRAME elements in a post. That's the function of gunzzDegayifier. If you edit the script, you can just comment out line 278 to turn it off. That line should look like this
} else if (currentURL.match(/message_topic\.aspx/)) { usersInThread = parseCurrentThread(); applyMediaEnhancements(); gunzzDegayifier(); blockUsersInThread(usersInThread);
7/8/2010 1:07:43 PM
HAHA
7/8/2010 3:02:58 PM
For what its worth, I had to comment out these two lines at the bottom in order to get it to work on Firefox + Snow Leopard
FB = unsafeWindow['window'].FB;FB.Bootstrap.requireFeatures(["Connect", "Api"], function() { FB.Facebook.init("37d6cc213b87da5c6a9b3ffd54a27bbf", "/xd_receiver.htm"); });
7/9/2010 8:53:22 PM
Ah, yeah, I left that in from testing Facebook integration. Right now, I'm testing a voting system for tagging threads NSFW.
7/9/2010 9:31:27 PM
That's ok, I figure you are trying to steal my facebook password too
7/9/2010 9:33:26 PM
If I may be so bold, I recommend you remove the block user code from the parse threads function. That function should just set up the data structure, IMHO.
7/9/2010 9:39:09 PM
I agree, but it was expedient, and motherfuckers was clamorin'. :/
7/9/2010 9:47:07 PM
Wait a minute, what version do you have?

It is separate from the function that initially parses the threads list. ;P
7/9/2010 10:37:21 PM
Why doesn't this work... In my greasemonkey install dir I have this stub:better_wolf_dev.user.js
// ==UserScript==// @name Better Wolf Dev// @author Jonathan Hamilton// @namespace http://jlhamilt.freeshell.org/// @version 0.5// @description Extensions for the Wolf Web// @require file:///Developer/better_wolf_dev.userf.js// @include http://*thewolfweb.com/*// @include http://*brentroad.com/*// @require http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/files/jquery-1.3.2.min.js// @require file:///Developer/wolf_web_basics.js// ==/UserScript==// And the whole thing boils down to this stub. topicRegexp = ['nsfw', 'official', 'tww'];GM_registerMenuCommand("Clear blocked users list", function() { GM_deleteValue("blocked_users"); });checkLogin();checkWolfWebURL();
