here are some: message_topic.aspx?topic=632710[Edited on July 13, 2016 at 3:30 PM. Reason : what's your budget and where will you be using it (house, beach, working outside etc)]

Wife and I wound up trading in phones the other day and got $300 credit for them - ended up using some to get a UE Boom-2.Honestly know very little about the company or product but it sounds pretty good all around. Haven't gotten much use outside the house yet but looks its ready for travel/pool/beach with water-resistance and durability.Reviews place it pretty highly per first page of google search if that's your thing as well...https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1GGGE___US637US637&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=ue%20boom%202

If you want portable, you are probably best to go with the JBL Charge 2+ or 3, depending on your budget. Those things kick ass.

How about buying my bose mini for sale in Classifieds?

I have had a mini jambox for over a year now and love it. You can find them cheaper on Amazon from time to time. I bought a refurbished speaker fyi. https://jawbone.com/store/speakers

I have an old Jambox I got back in 2014 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004E10KI8). TBH I'd like something that's louder... good for the beach. As much as I love Amazon, sometimes their search results suck. What's one of the top sounding BT speakers available today?

I have a Bose soundlink color (in white...?). It is everything I wanted in a Bluetooth speaker, except maybe song skipping buttons

nobody else wants to hear what i like so ear buds sound way better

look no further, this thing is by far the best I've come across for the money. Very good sound, clean bass even at high volume...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012DDB08C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

^agree that the Onyx has the best sound, but I don't necessarily consider it "portable." You cant really pack it when you travel
7/16/2016 12:02:09 PM
^ what do you consider "portable" that can come anywhere close to that performance though? I've heard a lot of different speakers and that Onyx is the best thing I've heard south of $300. I have the version 1 and you can find them for $100ish, but I'm not sure what the difference is btw it and the version 2.

I think the best bang for your buck right now is the JBL Charge 2+. Its last years model so you can find it for $99. I've done a lot of shopping around recently and it sounds pretty damn good for it size.

A guy at work got a JBL Go for being on some project, but he had no use for it and gave it to me. I was pretty impressed given the size and cost.
