You can use this link to see if your class grades have been submitted. This updates between 6 and 24 hours before the stuff on MyPackPortal so you can save yourself the effort of logging in to that slow-ass website.

I can always find my grades sooner though mypack portal than checking that website

for some reason i have no "past semester grades" option...i've searched everywhere...since my internship was from the summer when i click current grades it says i wasnt taking any, which is true, and gives me no "past semester grades" option

We have added the Grades Pagelet in the portal. This provides an easier way for you to check your grades. When you log into the portal (mypack.ncsu.edu), just click on the For Students tab and your grades will be at the top/center of the page.

so why, exactly, does it take an entire night to back up the information?

i could see that being true if you were doing full backups every night

but you should just be doing differential backups each night and then maybe a full backup for good measure on the weekend

that shouldn't take too long - there is no need to keep registration and open section inquiry closed all night...

grades have to be submitted to r&r within 48 hours of the end of the exam

so the latest you'd see your grades would be late friday night/saturday morning

What is fun is when your professor doesn't turn it in by the 48 hours after Wednesday. Then your grade turns into an LA. I had one of those for two weeks once. Its like this school doesn't enforce a darn thing when it comes to turning grades in.

I turned in a take home final last Monday, took one Monday and Thursday. Nothing yet. One of my professors from Monday sent out an e-mail stating that he submitted the grades last night. I suppose he turned them in after 5PM yesterday since nothing is in mypack or grollcheck. Our grade reporting system is garbage.

I don't know why in the world they would get rid of View Past Semester Grades. This overnight backup business is crap. R&R website says that grades are due by Thursday, Dec 19 @ 5pm.

I had 2 new grades appear on Current Semester Grades about 11am that were not there earlier this morning. Neither of them have been calculated into my GPA yet, which I know happens over night. The grade submission list does not show that the class grades are submitted. So maybe this new "Current Semester Grades" table is live, like "View Past Semester Grades" was? Either way...I'm glad to see results

Yeah all my grades have shown up between when I got up and now, save my two most recent exams.

All the grades are what they should be, except for a 1 CR hr A that should have been an A+, but im not gonna sweat that...
