I found it a bit funny/ironic that Harry comes to the conclusion that his father wasn't killed by Spider-man because his butler told him that the wounds came from his glider... then Venom uses Harry's glider to stab him... so it wouldn't be that hard to imagine that Spider-man could have used the glider to stab his dad in a similar fashion. Nah, must have been an accident. That movie was terrible either way.

^^^ Fire and move tactics are pretty well known, dingus.

That bridge was one of several that they needed to secure in order to protect the invasion, they didn't necessarily need it as a river crossing they just needed to deny the Germans use of it. It was a liability to have light infantry trying to take on tanks. They had been defeated and were about to blow the bridge when the deus ex machina popped up. Hell, engineers could have rigged a bridge over that in a day.
