Elections books are open (as of February 13 at 10 AM) for students to file for student leadership positions. Included are:

Student Body President
Student Senate President
Student Body Treasurer
Student Chief Justice
Student Senate Seats

Student Centers President
Union President
Student Centers Board of Directors
Student Media Authority

Is there a description of the duties and responsibilities for each of these positions? I have no idea what the "Student Centers President" does.

except no one can do that now due to the new elections rules passed after TPC fiasco...


incase you haven't noticed Whil Piavis was a terrible SBP who accomplished little to NOTHING! He didn't even advocate against the tuition increases...

his EXACT words to the BoG was "The students are willing to help out however they can" with regards to increasing tuition - not something our only voice on the board should be saying

to be fair, in his same moment with the BOT, he said "but we feel a more reasonable increase of $275 would be appropriate"

The Student Centers President is the Student Centers Board of Directors President, they are the same thing. Basically they would run Student Center Board of Directors meetings each month, deal with stuff that comes up in the Student Centers, meet with department heads that deal with the Student Centers, etc.

go to uab.ncsu.edu and read the new constitution to see what the Student Centers Board of Directors President does.
