Well I've come to find a few interesting things about NC State that has not been "Officially" released yet. 1.) Ground Breaking for the new football facilities will begin the day of the Wake Forest B-ball game! 2.) Bti will soon have the naming rights to the ESA. 3.) For any of you who are wondering, the guy who flies the helicopter to the games is the owner/CEO of BTI. Who also happens to own the Versace Mansion. "I was tired of driving and sitting in traffic, so I fly."
Well, thats all i have for now stay tuned for Evroccck news every hour on the hour!!!

You got all this in Sports Management today I'm in there I;m the guy who knew the helicopter bit. The BTI naming rights thing >I've heard from inside the company that they are in trouble and may not last for much longer so the ESA could be another Pro Player stadium like screw up. Also the guy who takes the helicopter got arrested recently for something invoving being inapproprate with a woman don't know the exact charge. Could be interesting

PC, yes the ideas were heard in PEC class, but they were confirmed from other sources WITHIN the company, so dont feel too special but thanks for the lead!

i just got to look at the floor plans and whole layout of 'phaseI' of the football renovations...they say the scoreboard, new seats, and new mens restrooms will be dome by first game next year.
Florr plans are pretty cool---there is a raquetball court off of te restrooms! (i dont know, I thought it was kind of odd)...also, there will be a litle plaza thing in front with a 'howling wolf' statue...
They are trying to work in time to break ground next month, but there are alot of legal things...this wil get built a lot faster than anything else b/c ncsu is leasing the land to WPC who gets the permits and plans done by themselves so that there are a lot less people who have to approve them, then after they are done buidling, they wil give gift to university...
...I thought Wendell Murphy pretty much had naming rights tied up...
for all you peeps raggin on the BTI guy, i admit he shouldnt pimp the copter to the games, but he is a really nice person. I've met him before and he's not a snob at all, but im sure thats what everyone thinks.
As part of the deal Naming Rights Agreement, the Hurricanes are gonna give NCSU $10 million to repay Wendell Murphy for his payment to own the naming rights.
The naming rights are going to go to Northen Telecom, They are using the BTI stuff to push up the price. I have inside sources at the arena and Nortel has wanted that arena since it was being built. Also with all the money that they have put into hockey in the past year and a half(i.e. sponsering the All Star Game) why would they not get their name on atleast one NHL arena...
At least the Stadium Complex signs on Wade Avenue and will be covered up or come down. Those are just terrible and sound worse than Entertainment and Sports Arena.
The guy and the helio, yes he is very nice I know him personally too. I clean and sometimes fly in it, wow what a machine. I do not want to give him a bad name but his morals and ethics are horrible. I know we cannot judge another man but I have seen him with so many women when he is leaving town. I hope are all as successful as him but lets try to keep our morals, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
The helicopter for Pack games isn't the guy from BTI - it is a Wolfpack Club member from Harkers Island (near Morehead City - he builds fishing boats).
I heard from a staff member that the BTI guy isn't in the Wolfpack Club, although they have a box at the ESA.
