Hey all! Teach for America is a corp of recent college graduates who teach for two years in urban and rural public schools with the goal of eliminating educational inequity in our country. We will be having an info session on October 3rd (monday) at 7:30pm in the Bragaw Activity Room. ***FREE Pizza!!!!!*** Not an education major? It doesn't matter! We seek out people of all interests and career goals. Stop by to find out more!
i know of Park Scholars who were not accepted into the program, so I know I am out. I would love to do that. My friend who did it said it was very challenging.
I highly recommend applying! You'll never know if you don't try. At least stop by the info session--you'll be able to talk with one of our past corp members to get an idea and what TFA looks for.
Teach For America is building the movement to eliminate educational inequity by calling upon our country's most promising future leaders to commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong advocates for change.
