There will be a public forum of the student body to listen to students' perspectives and desired changes to the new online ticket system. This is an opportunity to tell Student Government what problems you may have noticed at the Virginia Tech game, and how they can best be addressed.
Once students have had an opportunity to give input, the Campus Community Committee of the Student Senate will make recommendations to the appropriate officials for an improved system.
THERE WILL BE NO PENALTIES for the Virginia Tech game. See you all on Tuesday night!

I do not understand why they are trying to invent the wheel. Other schools, including UNC have an online ticket distribution as well that works great. They do the lottery online, but then if you win, you go pick up the ticket. Simple, and saves you from having to stand in line to try to get a ticket.
besides herding us through two gates like cattle, having police scream at us and threaten us with pepper spray, giving us seats in sections with just general admission so fights break out over the bleachers, my favorite part was when the lady scanning my ticket was like, 'you know i don't think it really scanned your ticket... in fact i am not sure this is working at all', as students just started rushing through the gates past everyone as we missed the first 5 minutes of the game... yeah, this system works great
I can't make it, but maybe somebody can suggest (or has already suggested) this:
check for student IDs at the gate, like last year (visual once-over) have a drop box for the tickets. That way, the staff can scan tickets at their own pace and those who need to be penalized can be
^^ You have to keep your ticket to get into the section, so the drop box would only work if everyone brought their big barcode on a different sheet than the ticket. That also doesn't solve the photoshopping problem.
^^ What PackMan said. I would also suggest you bring specific suggestions/solutions to the forum if you show up tonight, not just problems. Its pretty easy to point out the obvious ... actually taking the time to help solve the problems is another issue.
