Think you've got game? And 1 mixtape your type of style? Prove it. Enter The 2 Points for 2 Orphans Streetball Tournament and play to be the best Streetball team on campus. Going on March 17th (yes, St. Patricks Day) from 5-8 pm at the outdoor Carmichael basketball courts. 2 Points for 2 Orphans is a 3 v 3 open tourney presented by the Greek Service and Philanthropy Committee. There is a $30 registration fee per team with all the proceeds going to the Pete Kenny Orphan Rescue foundation to help Mr. Kenny adopt 2 orphans from Kazakhstan. The tournament will mimic typical Streetball tourneys style with a live DJ at the event as well as other games and raffles to be held. Also cash prizes will be awared to the top 3 teams ($100, $50, and $25). You can register at TwoPoints42Orphans@yahoo.com but do so before March 15th any registrations recieved after the 15th will not be accepted. So get a 3 man team, save 2 kids' lives, and make 1 big difference.

Kenny is an awesome guy - he told us about the adoption in class last semester and he told me personally more of the story when I stayed after one day to ask about some stuff ... go on out and support this cause!

So if its streetball, do you still win with the highest score or do the teams with the sickest moves advance?

Its going to follow the same rules of other Streetball tourneys where the score is still the basis for advancement in the tournament, but there will be other little side events for people to show their skills or compete against each other in skill challenges. But mainly it is whoever has more points at the end of the game advances
