Four females living near the Brent Road area were sexually assaulted over the weekend. Two in university commons, one on Brent Road, and one "in the area". Here is a full report. We'll try to keep everyone updated. Lock your doors ladies!

yikes!! my girlfriend lives in Gorman Crossings....they are insane when it comes to the locking of the door however thank god. They lock the door every time they leave regardless if roomates are in the apartment or not. Better to be safe than sorry
they weren't sexually assaulted. they weren't even touched. some guy just came in the apartments and when the girls woke up he ran out. At least that's what the WRAL report says. I wasn't there so I don't know first hand. happy?

By the way, sorry for the insensitivity for the above comments. I apologize to anyone I offended. I didn't know the facts and I made assumptions. Sorry again.

Regardless of whether this guy was too intoxicated to do anything this is still disturbing. My girlfriend doesn't live too far from brentroad and that is the kind of stuff that makes me worry ... ya know? This guy needs to be put away for a long time.
My friend wes said that the guy was in his bedroom when he woke up... looking around... he wasn't violent or anything, and that when Wes told him to leave, he did so immediately... kinda freaky though if you ask me.
That is scaring the shit out of me. This(Sunday) morning at about 5:30 AM , a guy just walked right into my room.(I live in Avent Ferry) He said something really indistinguishable and when I said "hey man, you are in the WRONG room", he just left really quickly and said "Sorry man, don't scare me like that." He then left the floor in a real hurry. This is really messed up. I wonder what would have happened if the voice he heard had been female? I am not prone to violent acts, but in hind sight, I should have broken his eye-socket and called the cops.
Should I report this? I can describe him to some extent.
Another reason this freaks me out is that this has never happened before. Someone just walking into my room. I thought he was just another confused party goer to begin with. But when I read about the assaults, I remembered that he not only left the room, he left the FLOOR.
