Chancellor Search Update

Hello folks,
I want to give as many students as possible the opportunity to shape this next Chancellor search. In meeting with many of you this year regarding the matter, I understand that it will be difficult to find a person that appeals to all of our concerns, across all colleges, but I am confident that a leader is ready to meet many of our expectations and needs here at State! Please review the following:

If you plan to nominate an individual for this post please see the website and pass those names on to myself or another member of the search committee (prefer these names by next week).

There are two remaining open forums in which you all can share with the search committee your expectations, goals, and the characteristics that you would like to see in our next Chancellor. Please frequent one or all and be willing to speak if you have something say to the search committee before decisions are made. You may also prepare something in writing for us to consider. The dates and locations are as follows:

-3pm on Mon, August 9, in the College of Textiles Convocation Center
-3pm on Thurs, August 26, in Talley Student Center's Walnut Room

That joke was bad. Reeeaaall bad.

Almost as bad as the fair-weather-relationship our last chancellor had with her students.

ask them why the fuck their police department is running around unchecked fucking up the lives of students that have contributed positively (both financially and intellectually) to this university for a number of years
