oh wait, i haven't signed my pay sheet yet this year. oops.

But if you don't go to this open house, then I don't want to hear you complaining any more about how much you think Technician sucks. Technician is a student newspaper; it's up to the students to make it as good as they want it to be. If you think it sucks, then we'd love to have you down to help us make it better.
how much time per week is required for a photography position of any sort, or for some sort of column? and do you have to keep regular hours for this (as in, would i be required to show up regularly before 5pm, or after 10am?)?
definitely digging the idea of having some sort of paid creative outlet
^ i didnt make it...waited on friends to get the library, and right when i said fuck it, let's go, they got there...asked what time it was, and it was already 715...
what time does the technician office in witherspoon open? i can swing by there before i go to work, and be there by 8

The time requirements for column work is pretty slim. Just email in your column the day before it's running and attend the weekly meeting and that's about it. For article writing, the time basically depends on what you're covering. When I cover track meets, I usually have to spend 6-8 hours at the meet watching and interviewing, 30 minutes transcribing, 30-45 minutes writing. For previews and features, I usually have to spend a total of 10 minutes talking to coaches and athletes, 15 minutes transcribing, 30 minutes writing.
The only time I ever go up to the office is for our weekly meeting and to sign my paysheet (neither of which have I done in several months).
ambrosia, office opens at 8, but no one will be there.
I'll be in the office at 3:30 and then heading out on an assignment, if your interested in photography try catching me then, otherwise come to the photography meeting sunday at 7 in the office
