Good Local Bands Needed.

submitted by rchamp2000 on Monday, March 29 2004 at 9:15 PM

Bands are needed to perform Saturday April 24th at the Bragaw Birthday Bash. 8 to 9, one hr. blocks are needed to be filled. The Birthday Bash is an all day event with FREE FOOD, fun & games, and lots of people. Good music is needed for the crowd to enjoy as they eat and play games.

i hope that you know that (our) money can be saved by just using a stereo. no one is going to care if the music is coming from some band (that'll probably suck anyways) or a stereo. people only care about the free food.

yeah that is pretty true what superchevy said. i went to one function at the beginning of last semester with a live band and hardly anyone was around them. the large groups of people were around the free food tables. it would be cool if you could forget about all the local bands and just pay one awesome famous/semi-famous band to play but eh i don't really see that happening. i mean, i guess lonestar came to our school but does that really count?

I'll show up for bands, I wouldn't show for a stereo. I like to hear live bands that are decent.

My cousin has a band and I think they're pretty good and they're always looking for somewhere to play. They've played at Lincoln theater pretty much... here's their website- http://www.allourenemies.com/
