Residence Hall Week 2004!

Residence Hall Week is upon us! Starting Friday 3/19 the Inter-Residence Council brings you a week of fun, action-packed programs.

Friday, March 19th- BROOMBALL!!!!
Meet in front of the Campus Cinema (witherspoon) @ 11:30pm
Raleigh Iceplex will house the crazy shennigans that is broomball.

Saturday, March 20th- MATRIX REVOLUTIONS!!!
Come watch a FREE showing of the third installment of the Matrix movies (all courtesy of IRC)
7pm @ the Campus Cinema FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!

Sunday, March 21st- 1st Annual RESIDENCE HALL OLYMPICS!!!
2-5pm Come out and support your Residence Hall while having lots and lots of fun at the same time. Carmichael Gym.

Tuesday, March 23rd- Housing Appreciation Day!!!
Use the day to really appreciate who helps make your residence hall experience happen.

Wednesday, March 24th- BASS WARS '04!!! "SpeakerBoxX"
4:30pm inbetween Turlington and Alexander
IRC's annual competetion to see who on campus has the best system in their car. Lots of good music, free food and fun times. Go here to enter your car . . .

what's broomball? i think i've heard of it before, but i dont really know what it is, how to play, etc.

think hockey, without skates, pads, a puck or sticks.....you are given two rubber balls, sticks with pallets on the ends, and that's it.....60 people on the ice, two teams, go for it

oh man that might be fun. cuz i've never ice skated before, but i don't think i would be able too... haha i'm a shitty roller skater. hmm, i might have to check out this thing on saturday.
