Hey everybody! The Packabelles are coming back this semester with full force to rock campus with some awesome acappella music. We have bigger and better goals set for our group, and last semester, we even cut a CD. That coming from a first year acappella group is saying something! Where do you fit in? The Packabelles are looking for some talented individuals to come and join our amazing group. We will be in the Brickyard today, through Thursday promoting our efforts, and scoping out the field for some talented people. During the day, we will be posted in the Brickyard from 1-2 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and in the evening, we'll be making rounds around campus making live preformances. So please stop buy and get an audition time! ***Auditions will be held Thursday 9/4 from 6-11pm in the Lee Lounge*** Auditioners will have to sing a prepared solo acapella, show skill on vocal ranges, and scales, and may be asked to sing with the group. Auditioners must be female, and a student at NCSU. The Packabelles do not discriminate against color, race, age or major. (You do not have to be in the music dept. to join our group.) For more information about the group, as well as audition times, please check out the Packabelles Website at: http://www.Packabelles.com

Their music is actually very good. I'd recommend that you check it out sometime at one of their many on-campus performances this year, or by buying a CD to support the group.
They have a particularly nice-sounding re-make of Jewel's Am I Standing Still?
Best of luck! Don't forget about appropriations in the fall & spring!

Well, sexuality doesn't have to be involved. I mean, unless you come to auditions and just blurb out "by the way, I"m a lesbian", it won't be an issue. And it won't be. This group is concerned with singing, and not which way floats your boat
