RBC Center Graduation Procedures....

CANDIDATES FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREES will line up behind their college signs on the north side, lower-level, delivery entrance of the arena at 8:30 a.m. You do not line up alphabetically or by departments but by college only.

CANDIDATES FOR PROFESSIONAL DEGREES will line up at 8:30 a.m. immediately behind the candidates for the Master's Degree on the north side, lower-level, delivery entrance of the arena. A sign will mark the spot where you are to assemble.

Procedure for conferring Bachelor's and Professional Degrees: The Dean of each college will ask the candidates for the Bachelor's and Professional Degrees to rise. The Chancellor will then confer the degrees for that college. The candidates will then be seated. (Note: Candidates for the Bachelor's and Professional Degrees will not walk across the stage.)

CAPS AND TASSELS: All male candidates for degrees will keep caps on throughout the exercises except at prayer. Women should not remove caps at any time.
Bachelor's Degree Candidates enter the arena with the tassel draped on the right side of the mortarboard. After the Chancellor has conferred your degree, you will be led by a fellow student in moving the tassel from the right to the left side.

RECESSIONAL: At the conclusion of the graduation exercise, there will be a recessional for the Platform Party only. The audience is requested to remain in their seats until the conclusion of the recessional.

well I just went to my departmental one, but after hearing about what happened at the big one I'm glad I didn't go listen to dumbass Donahue.....congrats again to the Class of 2003, don't stress
the jobs will roll around eventually, and if they don't just do what I'm doing and take a little time off before going to grad school
