On Monday and Tuesday, Student Government and Chancellor Marye Anne Fox will be hosting town hall meetings concerning the possibility of a tuition increase for the 2002-2003 academic year. The Monday meeting will take place in Stewart Theatre at 7 p.m., while Tuesday’s meeting will take place at 10:15 a.m. in Stewart Theatre. Students will hear presentations from the chancellor, as well as, members of the Student Senate.
For more information about the possible tuition increase, contact Kay_Yow, J-Me1983, or bigdix. To have your voice heard on tuition issues, come visit the SG "table" in the Brickyard on Monday or contact your student senator.

I imagine they will cite increasing enrollment, inflation, reduced funding from the state and corporations, long-standing poorly-paid faculty issues, and faculty retention.
They won't cite ubiquitous university waste.
