From the that-happened-two-days-ago department, the basketball team did their part in the ACC/Big 10 challenge by knocking off Penn State 84-76 wednesday. The game got a little nasty at times, but we pulled off a win that was absolutely neccessary. The NCSU game made the difference in the ACC/Big 10 challenge giving the ACC the edge 5-4. An added bonus for the big night : CAROLINA LOST!

And from the half-man-half-machine department, Levar Fisher was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year. This is a big one. Its about time the man got some real respect. The best part : He'll be back next year!

Finally, from the from the no-shit department, Phillip Rivers was named ACC Rookie of the Year. Watch out next year FSU!
