The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter at NC State is excited to invite you to a three part speaker series regarding the engineering world in today's economy. These sessions will also include a (free) light dinner, such as pizza.
The series, "The Engineering World, In a World of Economic Turmoil", will focus on how the current U.S. and world economies are affecting engineering as a whole, with special focus on civil engineering and construction. The first session in the series will address the background, effects, and forecast of the economy, as well as impacts on the engineering and construction industries. For this session, we have invited Dr. Robert Handfield from the NC State School of Management to speak.
"The Engineering World, In a World of Economic Turmoil" first session will be held on March 23rd in Mann 216 at 6:00 PM.
Please feel free to invite others and we ask you to RSVP. If you have any questions please contact asce.ncsu@gmail.com
