The North Carolina Farmers Market offers a huge variety of fresh, locally grown produce including corn, watermelon, strawberries, potatoes, squash, beans, and lots more. Click here for a chart of what fruits and vegetables are currently in season.

The Market also hosts the N.C.Meat & Cheese Center; “Featuring All Natural N.C. Farm Raised - Heritage Beef, Poultry, Ostrich, Chevon, Duck, Bison, Other Specialty Meats, Farmstead Cheeses, Eggs, & More!”

Also located on site is a Seafood Restaurant featuring freshly prepared seafood and great sweet tea! A second more traditional restaurant serves farm fresh produce. Additionally vendors offer many crafts for sale; as well as wine, jams, ice cream, candy, and much more. There is also a large plant and garden section.

The NC Farmers Market is located at the corner of Centennial Parkway & Lake Wheeler Road, in Raleigh. It is open Mon-Sat from 5:00am - 6:00pm and Sundays 8:00am - 6:00pm. Visit the official website for more information, a calendar of special events, and directions.
