Lot's of conflicting information about UNC game tickets has been floating around - here's the deal:
If you are receiving a ticket, you'll be getting an email from SG tonight. Athletics has the list and will be tediously posting 2800 tickets in people's accounts today until Friday.
Check students.ncsu.edu or email Jay.Dawkins@gmail.com if you have any trouble.

"Essentially if you want to be guaranteed the better student tickets to the February 20th Carolina game, camp out and be a part of one of NC State's great traditions. We look forward to seeing you there - GO PACK!"
So, when did section 310 become "better student tickets"??????????????

Campout is a bunch of BS!"
^You have to remember every single seat was given out during Campout. Except for the WolfPack Club Tickets that get taken out of the student allotment.
Remember there are some tickets that will go "on demand" from where people won't claim them.
So, there were only three real ways to get tickets to the game: 1. Wolfpack Club 2. Campout 3. "On-Demand"
So I'm happy that I camped out, stayed up all night and managed to get a ticket....but does it get much worse than sec 313 row K?! I used the regular lottery for last years game and got a seat better than this... way to go Wolfpack Athletics
I mean, I could bitch that "I organized the campout and all I got was this lousy section 312 seat" but I gotta admit, I'm glad that I'm gonna be there when people are paying upwards of $100 for even upper level seats.
90% of my inbox is people upset that they don't have a ticket, often with the line "but half my group was there every checkin and I deserve a ticket" despite them not showing up.
Anyways, can't wait for the game and a chance to give hell to the boys in blue.
Over time NCSU will become just like UNC in regards to location of student seats... As the university athletics need more money they get the mentality of selling the lower level seats to the big fish.
Would not surprise me if eventually seats are installed where the students stand on the sides. These seats could easily pull $500 a game for corporate entities. Epically for a UNC or Duke game.
***Be sure to check the "Your Tickets" tab to find your ticket if you got a confirm email and have not gotten a ticket yet***
If you still don't have a ticket within the next hour (3:30) email me before 4pm when I'll send the list of accounts to Colin Hargis at the athletics office. (Jay.Dawkins@gmail.com)
Thanks for your patience with this guys, I'll be sure to update when SG schedules the ticketing/campout Town Hall Forum to address the issues. Keep rockin in the free world.
Believe it or not, I would. I'm about 90% responsible for how Football started originally, but when it came time for Basketball season I was booted by Student Senate and wasn't allowed to tweak that system to something that could work. In hindsight, I'm glad because I don't think that the seating system can work the same way in the arena the way that it works at the stadium. It was destined to fail. The main issue has always been the ability to allow students a first come first serve option over a 3000 seat area. Because of how sections in the arena are arranged, it was never thought possible.
So as far as basketball is concerned, I would prefer a physical method.
