Tech talk has been overrun with threads about computer games, and the talk only occasionally becomes technical (those are usually reserved for the video card threads). Five of the top fourteen threads are video game threads at the moment (and looking a bit farther down yields several more). I know that a video game section won't be added for the gaming nerds but I would just like to point this out here rather than in the tech section (where I may be bludgeoned by a blunt wireless mouse for calling them out about their games).

You should tell them to move it to Entertainment, if it really bothers you, because that forum was built for such a purpose.

Yea, it actually doesn't bother me all that much as there really hasn't been anything cool come up in tech talk in awhile anyway, I just think that there really could be a use for a Video Games section as the large majority of the people that post here (and more specifically in the tech section) are game players and I think a games section would get a lot of use.

should depend on if it is a technical question about the game or an entertainment type question.

Rarely are the questions tech based yet they all get sent there. Why? Because the tech nerds play games so they just post where they spend all their time, in the tech section. There is enough game talk on the board to warrant a new section but I know one won't be created.

it is not needed. the number of posts in that section isnt high enough to warrent splitting it up.
