including the premum user-made links

I disagree. You can always just right click and open it in a new window if you would like.
11/26/2002 5:29:36 PM
they should be consistent, anywaythe site was designed such that anything with the [link] tags opens in a new window
11/26/2002 6:06:46 PM
Yeah, all hyperlinks should open a new window.
11/26/2002 6:07:42 PM
if you transition between Thewolfweb and brentroad it should keep you logged in.
11/26/2002 9:06:07 PM
^what?!
11/26/2002 9:36:45 PM
NO! I use the no logging in feature to look at the site not logged in, or to see it as non-premiums see it. Sometimes, I don't want it to upset all of my NEW and OLD pics.
11/27/2002 12:13:22 AM
well you can still enable and disable auto login.
11/27/2002 12:32:22 AM
what the fuck are you going on about?
11/27/2002 12:47:47 AM
if i am logged in to TheWolfWeb.com, sometimes i switch to brentroad.com by clicking a link, and i am no longer logged in.
11/27/2002 1:17:14 AM
oh. that's a problem.
11/27/2002 1:41:50 AM
Yes, but if you disable auto-login, you have to type the password all the time. What I'm talking about is just when I'm at my computer and want to say.... get a picture from a photo gallery and don't want to open a new instance that's logged in. It would still not work right from the auto loging disabled thing, I think.
11/27/2002 2:52:15 AM
the only time the computer should open a new window is if I fucking tell it to. If i want to leave the site to visit another one, leave it in the window i already have open for browsing.
11/27/2002 9:37:05 AM
it shouldnt open a new window because pop-up stopper wont allow itso you'd have to turn off popup stoppernot that i use that crap, i use phoenix

the only way you can be logged in to both thewolfweb.com and brentroad.com is if you do the login yourself. a cookie can only be set/destroyed/changed by the site that initialized it. i guess they could say if (cookiename="thewolfweb" || cookiename="brentroad") ... but even then it couldn't get info about the cookie (at least I don't think so) because it doesn't "own" the cookie.

Look at it like this, Lokken, when you're looking through a thread and you see a link you want to click, does that mean that you're done with the wolfweb? No, you're going to check it out and come back to the thread. I'd prefer that it opened in a new window, like ALL the links did before premium status came about, so that I can simply close it when I'm finished. Besides, I'm a madd multitasker.
11/27/2002 11:51:25 AM
does management have any thoughts on this?
12/1/2002 4:23:42 PM
Lokken is just trying to 'troll' or whatever you internet dorks call it... i agree with you Eulogist.
12/1/2002 7:43:14 PM
i agree
12/2/2002 1:01:23 AM
so what's the deal?
12/7/2002 5:39:03 PM
It's already been addressed by CrazyJ, Eulogist.
12/7/2002 5:43:00 PM
where did you find that out?
12/7/2002 5:49:30 PM
I just remember it... he put the slap down on the premium users, said something like, "if you want html - you gotta take responsiblity for it and code up the new window your own damn self"
12/7/2002 5:53:23 PM
hehe, sweet
12/7/2002 6:00:04 PM
oh wait, that's not what i wanted to happen is it
