why did they start scaling down picture sizes, i tried to post another comic i spent a lot of time on but it was scaled down way to small...even at fullsize. that pisses me off.

No, he's got a new comic he's trying to upload. Apparently TWW has recently started scaling down images that are really large (like Rep's comics tend to be). how about breaking it into several smaller pictures??We had some 'Post your desktop' threads in tech talk that were taking up a huge amount of bandwidth on every view during a time when we were having big problems with our hosting company about bandwidth.

Well, he doesn't want to break it up into pieces.I'm just disappointed that you "unconditionally" scale down images. I mean, I've been really compressing the hell out of it, to the point where it's fairly small and yet it'll be scaled down anyway because of its dimensions. That's too bad.

if you don't like it, post your picture somewhere else, perhaps use some of that 50mb of unity space you got? Bandwitdh costs money....
