If you search for a topic or post, the message board sections in the 'Search in Sections' dropdown aren't displaying. The text is visible, but you can't tell which sections are highlighted.]

in v135 of chrome the background color of a selected option element was blue (#1967D2), regardless of any applicable CSS rules. in v136 that is no longer true, and now the element was applying the white background CSS rule that was already in place for unselected option elements. there's still an issue with focus/active state or something but i'm not gonna sweat it[Edited on May 16, 2025 at 6:03 PM. Fascinating. So technically it could be red instead of blue, etc?
5/16/2025 10:14:07 PM
the blue was a platform-native choice hard coded you could say for chrome for windows. going forward developers will have more options (swidt) on styling such elements however they choose.[Edited on May 16, 2025 at 10:42 PM. Reason : but yes, it's red now go pack ]
