I had one on every page I looked at. Did anyone 400x their bitcoin wallet?

I tried so hard to convince myself that the ads were a sign from god, but I didn't even
put 20 bucks on NCSU.

seriously though, who took ncsu at +8k or +10k. How much did u bet? (Where is your money hidden)

I can't do it. I don't want to be barstools target demo. God, that would be depressing. Imagine losing half your salary or more on hunches you have, and losing the other half buying whatever shitcoin Dave Portnoy is shilling that week and watching it race to zero in 3 hours.

If only companies would advertise the free bets, perhaps people would have a chance to know!

Hahaha, I have no idea how I missed the ads telling me about the whole "deposit 10, bet 5, collect 200 in bonus bets" thing... I guess cause I was just so closed off to it mentally.

But when my brother told me he knew of like 10 sites for people in NC to test out and get free betting money (after risking a tiny bit of my own), it seemed perfect.

Oh, and just for the record, I'm not trying to push any referrals to earn myself anythjng. I just got a new hobby for the week, lol.

No, there are some sites which technically operate as social sportsbooks or something and have some sweepstakes workarounds. Fliff is an example. It gives you a free dollar everyday too, so no money of my own put into it so far

But regardless, there is always the option called having friends! lol

I put $30 into Bet365 (they give you $200 after your first bet settles) before last Friday's game and bet it on State.

I cashed out the winnings after that, and bet the 200 bonus bucks on State against Duke.

I cashed out all but $20 after that game, now got it riding on State this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Definitely not planning on betting after this season, but I can see how it can be addictive.

Yep, a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money (i know they already could, but easy access is going to amplify it exponentially)

I think the odds were +25000 or something to win before the NCAA tournament started

so 10 bucks, 2500
100... well, yeah +25000, 25000

wild

I feel like if in some random scenario I somehow ever won like a lottery or something
I wouldn't want the money beyond paying off any debts or immediate expenses or things
cause then it defines your life, you know. I think I'd give it to my parents

What's fliff? A site with a bonus?

What other sites beside these have decent bonuses?

Bet365
BetMGM
CAESARS
Draftkings
Fanduel
Espn Bet

I deposited 10 into each and made a 5$ bet at each place, and got between 200 and 250 in free bets per site

I only started during elite 8, so i didnt make a LOT. Lol. Cashed out 3 sites where i put most bonus bets on +1300 odds for state to win. Bet a few on the pack to beat Duke by 11+, I think it was about +800. Using one site just to fuck around with baseball, and have like 12 more $25 bets to use in the final 4 after putting 100 on ncsu at +2400 to win the while thing

Obviously it's a Longshot but it's free. Also playing some less risky stuff too, just not sure yet.

Cool thanks. My brother uses a different one for free as well, but i think he said it's more focused on the individual players than teams... and the money is done different.

If anyone is interested i can ask him what it is. He made money off it

Thanks for the list jackleg, just put $200 of ESPN’s money on the Pack. Hopefully they take it out of Jay Bilas’ paycheck.

Will this prove to become the crippling gambling addiction support thread? Time will tell. . .

I KNOW I can make it back. Just have to double down!

But I'm happy to see gambling companies' money wasted, especially if the Pack win out.

The Coz, I guess time will tell for some people. I've never gambled other than socially and never seek it out, so I will be good.

It is a good idea to give advice on how I did it though, in case someone is worried.

I recommend if anyone isn't sure how they may react to the dopamine and possible cash, just maybe join one site. Know that there IS a risk ($5 - $10 per site) that you'll lose the initial bet that you must put down for the bonus bets to be deposited. BTW DO THIS BY DEBIT CARD IF YOU WANT/NEED FAST WITHDRAWAL. I used a normal credit card w/o thinking about it at first and direct to bank withdraw wasn't an option on that site, so I just asked for a check. If you use debit card, you can take winnings out and send to the same card. Also don't use credit cards anyway, I probably got lucky I didn't get hit with a cash advance fee for 10 bucks. Luckily my card didn't do that.

Keep in mind that there is no odds requirement that I ever saw, so I just put 5 bucks on pretty much sure things to secure my NCSU money. Since I bet on teams that were supposed to win big, I turned those 5 dollar bets into 6 dollars, but anything can happen and I could have lost it. Still would have gotten the 1000$+ in bonus money, but it was at the risk of betting $30 over 6 sites.

Then, every day I've had bets settled and i won, the bonus money i bet turned to my money and I withdrew it to my bank account and left only bonus money in the sportsbook accounts, and betting my winnings isn't an option.

Don't bet anything in your "balance" after you have unlocked the bonuses and you'll be good. There's a button to hit sometimes to choose "use bonus, else you will be gambling your real withdrawable money.

Sorry, that's way long. Just trying to be thorough and put out any issue that I could think of. I would hate to send someone into that who got addicted or lost money due to the deposit method and all that stuff. I want people to have fun, but gambling does fuck some people up bad. So don't do it if you aren't willing to use only their money and take your winnings right out

Good luck.

Speaking of cash advances and not forgetting to use the debit card, I JUST got this email from the credit card I used on one site...

Quote :
"We are writing to inform you that starting on April 16, 2024, online gambling transactions (for example, transactions on sports betting websites) will be treated as cash advances as stated in your Cardmember Agreement, and your standard cash advance Annual Percentage Rate (APR) and fee will apply to these transactions. Prior to this date, these transactions may have posted as purchases."

LOL saved a fee there
