What if I'm driving a rental vehicle for my employer and they won't reimburse me for a car wash before I return the vehicle? You can bet your ass that I'm doing a bang-up car wash with a squeegee!

It's clear you've never experienced renting a vehicle so don't worry about that hypothetical

The buckets for those squeegees double as a complementary toilet for use by customers who are uncomfortable with using a public restroom and would prefer to piss/shit at the pump while waiting for their Subaru to fill up.

This clearly official rental summary says you're wrong.

In my experience, shitty companies, like Thrifty or Budget, might charge you a cleaning fee. But National kicks ass.

I’ve rented 100’s of vehicles from Enterprise, Budget, etc and have never once been charged a cleaning fee, even returning them with boot mud smeared all over black floor carpets and mud caked on the exterior. Did have a coworker that got charged a fee one time but he had the truck for a couple of months and returned it filled with trash/garbage along with very heavy cigarette smoke in addition to the mud.
