on one hand, it feels like the internet has overblown our attention to things

on the other, it feels like it has desensitized us to outrageous things and bad news

or both! sociologists help me out! (anthropologists are cooler by the way)

You're a college student, right? So you've supposedly only been alive for 19 years, right?

Yes but that's why we have parents and teachers and books and things to get testimony from and to get a better understanding (also why i made this post Lol!)
I will say though, I barely used the internet till 14-15 except for the most basic stuff. Nowadays, at least from what I see in my siblings and those of friends, through both school and culture, it dominates a lot of the life even for kids.
