Is that thing full of CGI or naw?Is it still FWD with 306+ HP?On the positive side looks like they're toning down the Fast and Furious stuff. I doubt it actually sounds like that but looking forward to being proved wrong. Those things haven't been exactly wack in recent history but they definitely haven't been best in class either IMO.[Edited on June 21, 2022 at 11:30 PM. Reason : Looks like a video game. The 10th gen is apparently an amazing car to drive. But I don't care because it looks horrible and can't handle continual track abuse without overheating and shredding it's front tires. I also have zero interest in paying that amount of money for something FWD.11th gen looks better, but that wasn't difficult to do. The powertrain is going to mostly be carryover (and the 10th gen powertrain was already carryover from the 9th gen that came before it).

everyone seems to love it, but dealers seem to be killing all the enthusiasm for it

For the life of me, I can't understand spending the money that a CTR costs to end up with what is ultimately a FWD economy car, but is so ostensibly track-oriented. Like, I understand the Civic Si...but if you're not going to track the shit out of it, the CTR makes no sense...and if you're going to track the shit out of it, it also makes no sense against what else you can get for that money or slightly more or less.

^I barely understand the Si currently. Latest model lost 5 hp, adaptive dampers and heated seats. But it gained $5000 onto it's MSRP. Bit of a joke honestly.^^in one word (abbreviation?), AWD.FWD handling belongs in lower tier cost products. Also the Civic is so big now that the CTR looks to me like an Accord Type R.[Edited on February 10, 2023 at 8:46 AM. Reason : ]

while im not a huge fan of fwd, i dont think it precludes a car from being good. minis are tons of fun, so was the ITR we got in america. I don't think awd cures much in the case of the corolla. I haven't driven it, but even with the stickiest tires ever, that thing plows pretty hard in every video I've seen on it. I'm glad 4 door hatches exist with sporty setups instead of all anemic economy cars engineered to a price. I'm more a wagon person, but still glad hot hatches are options. very interested to see how true to the CTR the integra type S is

FWD has it's place, but not when you're forking over $40k+The GRC gripped better going through T1 at VIR in the latest lightening lap (than the 20mm wider tire shod CTR). All the reviews I see for the GRC say it's pretty neutral. I've also already driven one (spirited, though by no means 10/10ths) and it's pretty fun. The lack of interference with the steering (from being FWD) was welcome.[Edited on February 13, 2023 at 12:40 PM. Reason : ]

Impressive, but also a cheater car. Additionally, others are having difficulty going around the 'Ring without overheating their CTRs.
