Ok, so here is the backdrop...


My next door neighbor is cool (WWII vet), and his daughter that lives with him. His granddaughter, and shithead teenager....not so much.
Every week, the granddaughter and her crew come over to throw out garbage. Garbage days are Wednesday and Saturday, and these jerks put their garbage out in front of our house in a common area weekly the day after trash day. The trash sits outside of my house every week looking awful.

Here is what happened when my wife caught the little shit committing the crime.

Can I strike this teenager for talking to my wife in this way? Should I show up to his high school and shit in his pants?

So is that normally the correct location for garbage for pickup? Meaning there are no roll carts or no large dumpsters.

The rules of the HOA are after 7:00PM, we can put out our trash/recycling on the side walk directly in front of our houses. You can request a garbage bin from the city of you choose, but there is no requirement that the trash be in a trashbin...only that it is in a trashbag.



I typically put my trashbags in a bin, because we live behind a golf course and the crows that fly over have learned that they can poke holes in plastic bags for a quick meal.

Buy some blank writeable CD's. Do they still sell those? Write names of kiddie porn videos on them with the kid's name. Lightly scratch them so it appears that the data can't be read. Slash open his trash bag when he's not looking and make it look like they all spilled out. Alert the authorities when you see all of his supposed kiddie porn.

FWIW, last night, the granddaughter came back and took her families garbage back inside. This has never happened before. I can only imagine word got back to my neighbor (adults) that I needed to speak with them.

I don't understand this living arrangement where there are no bins or dumpsters involved. Bagged trash is supposed to only move to progressively larger waste containers (trash bin, trash truck, eventually landfill).

^^^ yeah, that's one of the things I'm hoping to discuss with them. One of those "hey, look....if it's a situation where your granddaughter can only come over on Sunday to take out the garbage, I will happily come take out your trash on trash day. But we can't leave it on the curb for 4 days... It looks awful, and attracts vermin".



^ this neighborhood consists of single family homes, townhomes, and condos. The single family homes have the larger trash bins capable of being picked up my the trash trucks. Due to how the parking around the townhomes are structures, a trash truck can't pick up the large trash bins, so we put out trash out on the curb on (or sightly before) trash day. The condos have the big dumpsters where the residents can disgard their trash bags.


So, usually they dump their trash when they think no one is watching. This time, we happened to be in the kitchen , so my wife saw the little shit carrying the bags out. That's when my wife ran out...

Wife: wait wait wait...that doesn't go.... trash. hey, is that your trash? Can you take it back?

Granddaughters teenage friend/helper/whatever:. NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wife: take it back in your house. Where are your parents? Go get them. It is just going to be sitting there until wednesday.

Teenager: it's not hurting anybody

-She apologized and said she had her daughter come get the trash that night.
-Blamed the incident on the kid she hired to clean, saying "kids these days just don't think..."
-Gave my neighbor my #, and told her to call me if she ever needs help with anything, even taking out trash.
