Kroger this week has asparagus at .97/pound. Never seen it below 1.69/pound before this. Walmart is 2.97/pound. Probably gonna hit Kroger up for green seedless grapes at .97/pound. Normal 1.79/pound walmart. Might sub raspberries/blackberries for my regular consumption of blueberries, its 4/$5. I like each of those berries more, but blueberries usually more economical.Tom Thumb has pork butt for .97 a pound. My mother told me thats a good price. Fresh Salmon for 6.99/pound, 3rd straight week. Might try the huge like 18” fillets they sell and cut it into portions, 5.99/pound then. Corn on the cob for .10 each. Def going to hit that up.A store named Marketstreet has peaches at 1.37/pound. I have seen them better I think but not recently.Aldi sucking this week. Can’t justify a trip simply for 1.49/pint blueberries. Maybe 1.29 or .99 a pint. Kind of want to try cotton candy grapes for 3.50/pound, while supplies last. Wonder how much better they can be than regular green grapes to justify the price difference. Marketstreet does buy 1 get one but you do have to buy 2, no half off one like Food Lion. Kind of a bummer. At least if it is a 2 for $5 type promotion, you can buy 1 and pay 2.50.

There are still some in N Texas. Aldi didn’t have cotton candy grapes. I am disappoint. Had to go to pool store which is on side of town with Aldi. Got blueberries, and kiwis(.10 cheaper than walmart)When Aldis blueberries are fresh they are crunchy like a grape. I hate mushy gritty like sand blueberries

For a good sized yellow peach what is a good sale price. I been into peaches lately, but best I can find is Sams for now 7.13 for 4 pounds. Fresh, last batch of 8 I got from Cali was picked 7 days ago. Only seen packs from 7-10. Have to wait some days before eatting them. I think walmart here has them .99 each and another grocery stores sales price was 2.49/lb. Literally called “large peaches” here. I will say perhaps target is good that they match costco at $2/lb when costcos peaches fucking blow

The other week Marketstreet had oikos triple zero for 57 cents each. Limited flavors though! I cleaned shelf of all peach and banana and 4 of mixed berry. Really hoped for cherry, and key lime. Not to be out done…Costco here started carrying it recently, same 18 packs sams has had for a while. On sale til 26th, only $8 for 18. Best i ever saw at sams was 10, both places normally $1215g protein, no added sugar, no artificial sweetenersKroger here always most reliable on a weekly basis for stuff ppl want. Raspberry clams .99

Anyway…So this seems as relavent as ever due to age inflationCostco has Sardines on sale $6.50 for a 6 pack starting june 22. I think best deal i have seen on strawberries this year is 2.77 for 2 pounds. Used to be like $1.6 for 2# at aldiI have other items that aren’t particularly “specials” that I’d like to post just wish others on here were not so well off and would participate

You buy sardines in bulk? I like most food, and I'll eat sardines every now and then, but i really can't get down with them. Do you eat them straight? Or prepare them in a meal? (I guess $6.50 is a really good price for 6 cans though).

They last so long and I guess i never have seen them on sale so I was gonna buy several. I just drain and put sriracha on top and eat. Just recently tried them and was surprised i didn’t find them that bad. Eat about a can everyday or two.
