Yes, just following it has been a lot of fun.
The pandemic also provides a huge opportunity to apply those tools/methods into analyzing daily updates across the country and around the globe. So it’s a new career field emerging with the disaster. Lots of software engineers/developers are transitioning to DS.

Yes, the bar is set pretty high tbh. Those DSs usually have very strong statistics or data mining/machine learning/AI backgrounds. However, nothing is easy.
