Neat show about the existential nature of our universe and the conflict between freewill vs determinism. Happy?

This is the fx but only Hulu fake out right?I love Alex Garland (ex Machina, annihilation) but not sure I want to get another streaming service just for this. Trailer https://youtu.be/aoNloYTsH0YEx machina crazy Rich guy mixed with psych thriller cult stuff mixed with...software development?

Oh, cool, I didn't know it was written & directed by Alex Garland. The description I saw on Hulu last night didn't make it sound very interesting at all.

Finally diving into this, first ep was interesting

I watched like 4 eps and I'm not sure I can watch anymore. I think a TV series is too big a canvas for Garlands visual focused style. Show is not occasionally pretty with some compelling visuals but it's just...boring? Every character seems to have mysterious motivations which just means they are all blank slates.

I stopped watching right around my last post in here.

Seems like an interesting show. The Japanese girl is a humanoid robot in Ex machina.
