^You have to have a premium account to embed and make other posts containing HTML.I'm kind of all over the place. Here's one I like (sweet harmonica):
11/8/2022 7:21:02 PM
yeah you need a premium to access a lot of the things, books, school tool, even some searches.if i find enough coins on the street that add up to enough to pay for premium ill get it
11/8/2022 8:01:05 PM
Those are not premium features. They are broken / deprecated features.
11/8/2022 8:07:27 PM
I see. I thought so cause when I clicked on them they said you need special access.

That access is site-owner access (AKA only qntmfred). He's protecting everyone from features that no longer work. A true selfless leader.

I wonder what the revenue for the site is
11/10/2022 5:12:44 PM
Pretty sure it loses money these days. It's more of a passion project.
11/10/2022 7:31:50 PM
It's more profitable than Twitter
11/10/2022 7:45:21 PM
It loses less money than Twitter.

I'd guess costs per month are10-15 dollars for the domain name.hosting plans can vary... but I'll take the middle of the road at 50 dollars a month.time? assuming qntmfred works the value of around a dollar 99 an hour for 3 hours a monththat's 6so, in a liberal estimate, 75 dollars a month? maybe I'm missing something or an expensive hosting service is being used, isn't my area of expertise.man if there were enough users, hell, one ad could probably be enough to offset all that, look at even youtubers with a few thousand subscribers getting sponsors

been my most listened to song on Spotify 2 years running lol
12/7/2022 6:21:11 PM
I think at one point, qntmfred posted a proposal about keeping the site going that outlined something like $250 a month in expenses to keep the site going and even improving into the long term. Anyone remember that?

^I'm not familiar, is that a Skid Row song?
