I'm willing to give her a pass, and give her the benefit of the doubt that she just had a slip of the tongue. I heard 'nakers' anyway. I mean, semantically, the N-word doesn't even make sense there in the sentence she was speaking.

^yeah that’s what I think. Sounds like the N word in that slowed down version. Sounded like Nackers/Nickers in the original one to me. The N word kinda doesn’t make sense there - not that all racist insults need to make sense. But given the context, I have a hard time believing she would refer to the basketball team as the Los Angeles N Words. Seems like she just got tongue tied as opposed to a sub consciously racist slip.
