Useless fact: About 15 years ago I started a new job, which coincidentally was during the national sales meeting. My boss hired one of the Jamaican bobsledders (I think Devon Harris) to speak at our booth.

My boss (who I quickly discovered was a moron) thought hiring a motivational speaker would be the best way to spend marketing dollars. I had to listen to the same speech about 50 times in 3 days. Brutal.
