Nah, that was a ref on a power trip. No reason to blow the whistle there unless they're about to fight. And they weren't about to fight.

Maybe they were both talking shit about the ref.

I was at the game and was trying to figure out what was going on at the end there.

Ref blew the whistle with ~1 sec left in the game when they were jawing, called the game over, we start shaking hands, then they make us go back out to play it out, the players seem to be just standing there, ref blows the whistle, T's them up and ejects them from the game, we inbound the ball, game over, the teams don't know whether to shake hands again or not, they kind of halfway do it then walk off the floor. lol weird

I was at the game as well. No clue what happened, and of course the refs didn't bother explaining. Valentine was terrible the entire game, as usual, and I think he was the one who called the T.

There was another moment in the second half, where Markell got called for a foul and the game wen to timeout. During the TO, Keatts walked over with Markell to Valentine and said something that made everyone laugh. Obviously the game was already in hand, and KK was coaching Markell and teddy for later in the season. KK is playing 3D chess.

Nope, it was Ron Groover. Valentine honestly is a pretty good ref. I would rather have him than 90% of the ACC officials.
