I dont really see it with him, he's not there mentally and there's only so much you can attribute to him being a RS-Fr. Agree that you take the lumps since we have nothing else to play for (unless I guess the guy redshirting looks good in practice and you run him out there for the last 4) but I don't even really see Jacob Eason upside where the guy isn't all there but has the physical talent to be passable

sportsurge.net is the new home of the guys that used to run the college football streams subreddit. There are a ton of options at that site other than grandma streams that are all very good. I used crackstreams today and it was as clear as if i were watching on dish/cable

As for Leary...its wild how predetermined his throws are. Like...I think almost every throw he makes he knows where hes going with the ball before its even snapped. His first INT he dropped back and heaved it with the confidence that the wideout was gonna be wide open. Little did we know that he was bracketed and double covered the entire time. Hell, his first pass of the game on a rollout to the left, he threw it to Emezie, i think, who caught it out of bounds and was draped and we had Carter flowing across the middle wide ass open. I agree that I don't think Leary is going to be what we need. Same as Hockman and Mckay. Hockman has been the only QB i've seen willing to move on from their first option...he just doesn't have the arm to be effective.

Also, our offensive coordinator sucks cock. So i refuse to put the entirety of the blame on the QB's. But theres a good portion of it.

Ty Evans redshirting this year, could play 4 games and still RS. Ben Finley coming in as a true frosh next year. Maybe Leary takes some big steps forward. And I’m not writing him off, but it’s pretty discouraging imo, considering Wake’s D isn’t necessarily a strength of theirs.

Also he makes terrible decisions. Neither Hockman or Leary is currently capable of reading an offense and finding the open receiver. McKay can, but he can't throw the ball to them for some reason.

I too found something better to do once we were down 21-0. What is sad is we have spent more money on our football program than Wake and yet they have played for an ACC title and are probably going to go to a decent bowl this year.

The silver lining of this game is that I went from expecting to be inside watching fooball until 4pm to instead getting a start on yard/garage work around 130pm.
