it took my first tape and fucked it up instantly lol

should I assume that it's going to eat up a 2nd one, or was that just a fluke, or wat?

I'm prob just going to throw it away, since the only reason I wanted it was just to pop in old VHS tapes really quick for quick reference, but don't particularly want to keep it if it's going to eat tapes someone was throwing it away so I figured why not, but it's so damn small it's not worth keeping for any other reason except maybe hooking up an Atari or something whimsical

I know that VHS cleaners exist, but I can't imagine it's worth it in this case

or is it?

I have another working VCR, but I was just kind of hoping to have this one as a spare

but it's so impractical otherwise, I suppose I'll just toss it out
