^ While I would benefit from this idea its only a good idea if its paid for by gradually increasing the taxes (up to 12k more) on incomes over 1 million to cover the difference.

It would be a big plus for upper middle class households and people making 1 mil+ won’t be able to bitch about giving money to freeloaders and homeless people.

Very normal dude. We mostly chit chatted about the startup he led, Manhattan Prep, which was a sister company of Kaplan Test Prep when I was there. Talked a little about self-driving tech and UBI. I told him not to ignore the importance of foreign policy

I also ran into his campaign manager and national partnerships director walking around through the college of charleston, got to talk to them too. really sharp folks. having seen the rally in NYC and now at the Charleston meet & greet, and talking to a few staff members, I felt pretty confident about the operation they are putting together. it's unorthodox for sure, but sometimes that's what you got to do to draw attention to an unorthodox candidate.

The next few months will be interesting to see if he can grow his support especially in such a crowded field. I'm just glad he's bringing so much attention to the role of technology in business, the effect throughout the economy and spotlighting UBi as a solution
