So did Thanos send half of people to an alternate universe and this takes place there?
1/15/2019 11:18:01 AM
Or maybe, just maybe, in a shock of all shocks, the remaining avengers come back in Endgame and undo what Thanos did
1/15/2019 11:40:19 AM
Well, Nick Fury appears to have taken Tony Stark's place as his mentor, so I guess that kinda confirms that Tony is no longer after Endgame. Who's the guy with the green stuff?[Edited on January 15, 2019 at 11:57 AM. Reason : sdfa]

Feels so archaic after Spider-Verse.
1/15/2019 12:10:39 PM
^^Mysterio(Although I think there’s a good chance he does) I would hardly say that Tony not being shown in the initial trailer confirms he dies.
1/15/2019 12:15:22 PM
was gonna guess Bubble Boy
1/15/2019 12:17:58 PM
Prequel to Infinity Wars? so confused but hyped.
1/15/2019 3:18:02 PM
Supposedly set after Endgame.
1/15/2019 3:42:55 PM
Sony fucked them and insisted on a 2019 release date which results in having to release a trailer that essentially spoils endgame.
1/15/2019 5:41:58 PM
It amazes me how many people seem confused/surprised, as if the ongoing marvel franchise was seriously going to continue with half the life in the universe gone, including some of its most popular (and most money making hero’s). I applaud them for actually doing the Snap, but it lacked any emotional impact for me at the same time because it was so obvious that it had to be reversed in the next movie. When Cap and/or Tony die in the next one however, it will be much more impactful
1/15/2019 5:48:48 PM
I mean the "spoiler" was already kinda assumed by most, this trailer just kinda puts a bigger dent
1/15/2019 5:55:27 PM
Lol “spoiler?” It’s comic books. Even if these characters die after being brought back from Thanos, they could still come back again. Movies can’t kill mythology like that.
1/15/2019 7:04:33 PM
Ah yes good point these movies are pointless and nothing matters. Who gives a fuck if they could kill them again? It's a plot point that is out before the movie makers (and probably at least some of the audience?) wanted it to, that defines a spoiler even if it isn't a huge massive one.
1/15/2019 7:59:34 PM
Incredibles remake?
1/16/2019 12:49:48 PM
Feel lucky as an American-to-be. So many good movie series to enjoy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt9L1jCKGnEWarning: Don't watch the trailer if you haven't already seen Avengers Endgame. There are many spoilers.Multiverse confirmed for MCU . This is prob how the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be brought into the MCU.
5/6/2019 10:46:07 AM
Ugh not a multiverse.Lazy writing alert!
5/6/2019 4:33:53 PM
^Admittedly they don't really have another way of explaining what the X-men and other mutants have been up to for the past 70 yrs.[Edited on May 6, 2019 at 4:38 PM. Reason : ]
5/6/2019 4:38:07 PM
How about there just are no mutants in the MCU. It's not like there's a shortage of characters.
5/6/2019 6:12:19 PM
So this will be the 8th Spider-Man movie since 2002, not including Spider-verse? Fuck this hot garbage.
5/6/2019 11:15:30 PM
^7th actually if you don't include Spider-Verse. But admittedly only the first two Tobey Maguire ones and Homecoming were the only actual good ones. The Andrew Garfield ones should not have happened. They were mostly so that Sony would be able to keep the movie rights to the character. Otherwise we prob would have seen Spider-Man in MCU Phase 1.^^X-Men bring in too much money and that is the bottom line here. Seeing Wolverine and Deadpool fighting alongside Spider-Man will bring in the big bucks. On top of that, since they are looking at a multi-verse, they can wipe the slate clean with the confusing timeline of the previous X-Men movies and have a reasonable explanation for any recasts they'd need to do.

The multiverse has been confirmed already by Dr Strange.
5/13/2019 10:52:31 AM
I mean they're gonna tie in x-men and fantastic four somehow. This would be as good of an explanation as any within the universe(s) they've built
5/13/2019 11:10:08 AM
Also, it’s not like they are inventing the multiverse just for the movies, it exists in the comic source material. I have zero problem with it.
5/13/2019 11:12:54 AM
Alternate universes are in there with time travel on the list of bad story tropes.
5/14/2019 9:58:47 AM
Yet Back to the Future is a perfect movie.
5/14/2019 11:05:08 AM
This was so much fun!
7/3/2019 10:38:05 AM
Excellent Mysterio story. The first credits scene is...perfect.
7/3/2019 11:59:43 AM
I like how they made it look like InfoWars. It was a nice touch.
7/3/2019 2:58:56 PM
Really good movie, enjoyed it thoroughlySPOILERSI guess no multiverse after all, huh? Also, thoughts on the 2nd post credits scene? Have fury and hill been skrulls all along? END SPOILERS[Edited on July 4, 2019 at 8:21 AM. Reason : .]
7/4/2019 8:20:55 AM
I guess not. And, I didn't get that impression.
7/4/2019 9:59:49 AM
This is now my favorite MCU movie. My one question is how did Beck know 616 when he was bullshitting? Dr. Selvig also called it Earth 616 in Thor2 (or at least wrote it on a chalkboard).
7/4/2019 11:28:35 AM
SPOILERS!Really liked this one. Homecoming suffered from too much Iron Man but this one was really great. Compelling villain too, I only wish Mysterio didn’t die, he would have been great as a returning villain. I guess that other guy took all the info and got away though. Also, SO PLEASED to see JK Simmons back as JJJ. He was the best casting ever in the Raimi trilogy. I wouldn’t say no multiverse quite yet. Peter seemed super excited as if he had already been thinking about it.
7/4/2019 8:47:51 PM
I enjoyed it, the first credit scene was a huge and awesome surprise, but i really don’t fell like there’s much rewatchability for me. What gets me to rewatch the marvel flicks I do rewatch are the awesome action sequences, the ones in this were ok, but nothing really stood out.
7/5/2019 6:35:48 PM
^ agreed on the latterThis movie was good but felt like watching on of the cartoon episodes not a marble movie. Seemed clearly more targeted for kids than other marvel movies.I’d rather watch the movie implied in the end credits...

7/7/2019 4:13:52 PM
This could be the best Marvel movie. Holy shit it was fantastic.
7/7/2019 5:14:59 PM
The first illusion fight in Germany was so damn good. I actually sat up in my seat.
7/7/2019 5:17:01 PM
At least the best since Winter Solider.[Edited on July 7, 2019 at 5:20 PM. Reason : s]
7/7/2019 5:20:32 PM
^^You mean Venice, right? The water elemental fight? I don't think they went to Germany? It was a really cool effect with the water everywhere. One thing I found really cool about Mysterio as a villain, and this could be credited more to his comic book backstory/creation, is that he actually has zero super powers or anything. It is all just holograms and drones.
