I've done as much digging as I could but need you guys to finish it off and bring it to light. I have friends that live in Colvard Farms (on Edgewood) in Durham and they told me they've see Zion out playing basketball with his family. Apparently his mom and siblings now live in this nice $850K+ house. Here's what I have so far:The House: 81 Edgewood Drhttps://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/81-Edgewood-Dr_Durham_NC_27713_M69542-76014The Owners of the house bought a house in Apex in April 2017 (so presumably they don't live at the Edgewood house - leaving it open for the Williamsons to live there). I couldn't find anything saying Edgewood was ever up for rent either. The Neighborhood: Coach Cutcliff lives in the SAME NEIGHBORHOOD! (different section with estate homes, but still...)And this video shows Zion and his family at his house in SC (used to compare/contrast his family's current living situation): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNc3Af8j0Xo I now am seeing more info like this being posted on the Internet so it looks the the word is getting out but ya'll are the best at this sort of stuff!!!

Wrong blue school. I don't give a shit.
11/5/2018 10:59:40 AM
I gotta he honest. I really really don’t care.

find a connection between the owners and duke
11/5/2018 11:51:10 AM
it’s 2018let the unpaid workforce have whatever they want

Remember when Will Graves lived in a house owned by Roy Williams and absolutely zero consequences ever came out of it? Remember Tami Hansbrough? Joseph Forte's mom and Octogon? 20 years of academic fraud? Etc, etc. I gave up on the idea of the blue bloods getting realistically punished a long time ago, unfortunately.

I don't understand how this dude can be so fat and athletic at the same time.

Uh huh. See...https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2019/04/06/duke-investigating-claim-nike-payment-zion-williamson-mother/3388357002/

He should definitely have to sit out a year.
4/8/2019 9:54:38 AM
the FBI aint fuckin around anymore. The NCAA just needs to give in and officially pay these guys. The fact that they aren't getting paid is absurd.
4/8/2019 1:47:15 PM
Zion should officially get the same amount as Braxton Beverly
4/8/2019 3:45:59 PM
I don't care about Zion, but if K is breaking the rules he should spend an eternity burning in hell

Technically Zion's family could have done what LeBron's family did and taken out a very valuable insurance policy on Zion and then took out a loan against that insurance policy and bought a house.
4/9/2019 9:17:13 AM
^^ this

I love threads like this - 'Hey guys I have an idea - go figure it out for me.'

4/9/2019 2:34:12 PM
um, Zion will be a multi-millionaire if he doesn't get hurt.
4/9/2019 2:37:29 PM
Yeah, c'mon guy.
4/9/2019 2:53:15 PM
^^^The #1 HS player coming out of HS, going to Duke, would have probably been a lottery pick directly out of HS...pretty safe bet he's going to make the league. He makes the league, you're set. He gets injured and misses the league, you're protected. Honestly Zion could have pulled a Kyrie and missed 90% of the season with an injury and still likely be a top 10 pick, which is guaranteed millions.
4/9/2019 3:12:07 PM
Pretty sure the only way Zion wasn't going to get a guaranteed NBA contract after this season would be if he either died, had a limb amputated or the NBA abruptly just shut down. He could have torn both ACLs and Achilles and still would be a mid-late first round pick.
4/9/2019 4:07:50 PM
But how do Zion's parents get a loan based on Zion's future earnings potential?Zion co-sign for it?
4/9/2019 7:55:58 PM
This is a stupid hypothetical.Real facts he got paid by Nike
4/9/2019 8:05:16 PM
Why would Nike care if he went to Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Clemson (the favorite for him at one point)? They are all Nike schools. Tons of exposure at Duke, obviously, but he'd be a big deal almost anywhere.
4/9/2019 8:55:57 PM
They don't. They do care that he doesn't go to Kansas or South Carolina.
4/9/2019 9:16:45 PM
^^nike paid him to go to a nike school. The same reason adidas paid Dennis Smith to go to NC State. Not because we're NC State...because we're an adidas school

I didn't think players were allowed to insure themselves.A retarded rule, but a rule nonetheless
4/10/2019 2:03:10 PM
Nah I’m pretty sure that’s normal now for players to insure themselves.
4/10/2019 2:49:19 PM
If my shitty Fortran TA got a stipend, the student athletes should get a stipend.
4/10/2019 2:51:16 PM
Counterpoint: Do the players know Fortran?
4/10/2019 2:52:45 PM
4/10/2019 4:16:19 PM
Hm. ok.I never got a stipend as a FORTRAN TA, but I did get paid (handsomely)
4/10/2019 10:45:03 PM
I got paid $15/hr by the department as a student employee for being a TA and helping with research, not huge money but I dont see why a student athlete couldn't get similar
4/10/2019 10:53:34 PM
Makes sense, but it would get exploited. 40 hour timesheets every week for not showing up.
4/10/2019 11:14:03 PM
4/11/2019 8:08:56 AM
^^ You think those kids don't work their asses off in the gym and practice fields?
4/11/2019 8:41:21 AM
I think if student athletes were allowed to have part-time jobs, it would be easy for a booster to hire them, and pay them even if they didn't show up
4/11/2019 3:07:38 PM
student athletes are allowed to work part-time jobs, just not during the season
4/11/2019 3:21:56 PM
4/11/2019 3:26:39 PM
^^even football and MBB players?
4/11/2019 3:34:47 PM
yes
4/11/2019 3:37:00 PM
I don’t think there’s any rule against a booster having contact with an enrolled student-athlete. A booster is basically anybody that has ever given the university or athletic department money. Obviously a booster can’t provide benefits to a player. But I’m pretty sure there’s no rule banning contact.
4/11/2019 6:04:17 PM
this is why there are NCAA compliance officers
