I put that shit on everything!

My great-grandmother was from Maryland, we use it all the time because of her

It's really great on mac and cheese, corn on the cob, ham and cheese sandwich, bloody mary, shrimp, crabs, any seafood....I mean the possibilities are endless!

the most overrated seasoning I can think of

it’s not that great to begin with, and the way people freak out over it is too much

To me, once you put OB on something...anything, that's all you taste.

It's like putting A1 on a steak. Why not just drink A1 at that point?

you don’t have to be a fan of something to appreciate it’s impact. it’s totally ok to admit that you don’t like something without saying it's overrated or not great.

(I'll occasionally put a light sprinkling on crabs or other seafood, and a little on home-made hash browns, but that's about it).

can you really say something as personal as taste is overrated? Are you saying they're liars and they don't really like it as much as they say?

You don't like it, that doesn't make something overrated. It's not like it's winning Michelin Stars for best condiment every year or something.

I love Old Bay, but it does take over the flavor, which is actually good if you are eating some nasty shit like eastern style BBQ.

Thats a bad troll because that's not a thing anyone does

A better troll would be something like, "everyone complains about it taking over the flavor but no one complains about bojangles seasoning"

^That doesn't even make sense. Pretty much everybody I know complains about Bojangles seasoning overpowering the flavor of their fresh potato fries.

It's good on shellfish.

I'll pass on putting it on everything else.

Here's a good recipe for avocado toast:

1. Take an avocado and mash it up with some salt/pepper/olive oil
2. Spread it on your toasted artisan bread from an eco-friendly bakery
3. Pour Old Bay seasoning...

... into the fucking garbage where that trash belongs.
